HEALING IS NOT LINEAR š Ā

Healing isnāt a straight line.
When my marriage ended, I thought healing would be neat and predictable.
Step one: grieve.
Step two: move on.
Step three: feel happy again.
But real healing looked nothing like that.
Some days I felt strong and hopeful.
Other days, I slid backwards into sadness, doubt, or anger.
For a while, I thought this meant I was failing.
But Iāve learned something important:
healing isnāt about moving in a perfect line.
Itās about showing up, again and again, for yourself.
Healing is messy. Itās uneven. Itās full of setbacks and breakthroughs.
And thatās okay. š
Every tear shed, every boundary set, every small step forward is part of the process.
Being āstuckā doesnāt mean you arenāt healing -
it just means your heart is still catching up.
One day, often when you least expect it, youāll realise youāve grown stronger in the process.
Youāll see that youāre Not the same person who began the journey.
Youāre wiser, braver, and more resilient.
